Marketing Assistant

Sussex Healthcare

Location- Warnham

Salary £25,000-£30,000

Position Overview:

In liaison with the Business Development Manager you will carry out marketing activities in line with the marketing strategy, as well as on an individualised and responsive basis as required.

You will have responsibility for informing and implementing marketing campaigns, carrying out and supporting activities as required.

Activities will include: updating and creating engaging content for the company's marketing campaigns and social media presence, including developing and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with our current and potential stakeholders.

You should be a committed and enthusiastic individual with good attention to detail.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing and providing results analysis of regular company mailings
  • Collate and publish occupancy statistics accurately and in a timely manner
  • Record accurate referral activity and use data as business intelligence to inform and influence progress, and identify opportunities
  • Ensure that occupancy statistics inform marketing activity as agreed
  • Deliver to identified Key Performance Indicators with regards to marketing related timelines and activities
  • Produce and circulate daily/weekly/monthly suite of excel reports
  • Database management and development
  • Ordering and receiving marketing materials from suppliers and maintaining stock levels
  • Producing in-house marketing materials
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of social media strategies.
  • Growth of social media networks and audiences.
  • Work as part of the team to develop larger social media campaigns.
  • Support running social media channels
  • Providing material to inform the maintenance of websites
  • Planning and attendance at nationwide exhibitions as requested
  • Sourcing suppliers of new marketing materials
  • Providing admin and telephone support in relation to marketing activities
  • Attending company meetings
  • Research and facilitate attendance at key award events, supporting candidates on submissions as necessary
  • Any Other duties as required by your manager


Person Specification

Qualification:

  • Marketing experience or qualification and/or
  • Educated to Diploma level.
  • Working experience in social media & marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience assisting and coordinating social media initiatives.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

  • Strong grasp of social media tools and strategies.
  • High level Microsoft Office skills.
  • Content creation experience.
  • Exceptional written skills.
  • Experience of working with Photoshop (preferable).
  • Strong work ethic and personal accountability.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time management.
  • Good interpersonal skills and business English.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
