Deputy Care Home Manager

£37,500 per annum
Permanent, full time contract
Based in Broadbridge Heath near Horsham, West Sussex.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join us in a new position of Deputy Care Home Manager with a positive, cheerful personality to help coordinate the management of one of our care homes based near Horsham. Our home cares for younger people with complex health needs, or physical and learning difficulties.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual who is keen to maintain our high standards of care, and passionate about leading our dedicated and loyal team of staff.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to take on managerial responsibilities whilst also being able to continue delivering exceptional care to the people we support.

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC PIN is essential
  • Passion for making a real difference

  • Experience of leading, supporting and motivating teams

Day to day tasks of the Deputy Manager:

  • To support the Registered Manager in all aspects of home management, providing strong leadership and support.
  • To ensure that the needs of the people we support are met every day, and to provide the highest standard of care.
  • Ensure that individual care plans are executed, developed, maintained and evaluated for each resident and reviewed regularly.
  • To assist the Registered Manager in leading a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Assist with carrying out appraisals and organising training plans for staff.
  • To ensure all statutory and regulatory standards are met and aligned to codes of conduct and company procedures.
