Referral Management Coordinator - SHCAudiology (full-time)

SHC Audiology is looking to recruit a Referral Management Coordinator (full-time) based at Sussex Healthcare Audiology, Boldings Brook Academy, Warnham to join the team working 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursdays (09.30 - 18.30 with 30 minutes unpaid lunch) and Fridays 07.30 - 16.30 with one hour unpaid lunch). Additional cover and flexibility will also be required to stay later on Fridays when a colleague is on leave.

The post holder should ideally live close to Horsham and within a commute of no more than 10 miles.

The post holder will work remotely to support audiologists in clinics and be required to receive telephone calls from patients and book appointments for repairs, aftercare and process referrals onto new pathways and liaise with GP surgeries.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and motivated applicant with proven sound administration skills and a typing speed of at least 30 wpm.

Applicants must have outstanding communication skills and strive for excellent customer service and enjoy working as part of a team, be courteous, prompt, professional and friendly. Good organisational skills are also required and the candidate must be able to demonstrate initiative and be motivated to learn.

IT skills are required and training will be provided on internal systems. Previous background working in the NHS would be desirable but is not essential.

Salary: £9.00 per hour, required experience: Referral Coordinator 1 year.
